don't go near east hastings...

It's strange how things work out... I've found myself in Vancouver, going back to school...living at the Y. Thanks to all for the kind comments on my last post. Life's taken a few crazy twists in 2006, and things seem to be looking up. I hope this trend lasts into 2007 and beyond. When I get settled I'll do some more drawings and post 'em. Thanks again for everyone's support. You guys and gals rock the casbah.

That's my old hood. Keep heading east til you hit Commercial Drive, take a right and head up the street about 5 or ten minutes. It was always one of my favourite spots in the area. The whole neighborhood is great. I think the Mexican chicken place is still there. It's on the western side of the street. When someone opens the front door, a sombrero descends from the ceiling and lands on the head of whoever is standing at the cash.
Good luck Tav. I'll write soon with some contacts for you.

Hey Tav, I'm sorry about your Dad. Judging by the photo you posted he looks like he was a fun guy.
I miss the days where we would go and grab couple beers after work at Funbag. It feels like that was decades ago!
I hope that Vancouver has what you are looking for.

Hey Tavis, glad to hear you're getting along! Canada always sounds dreamy with the wealth of great cartoonists up there. Don't know much about Vancouver other than what I've seen in skate videos but I hope it treats you well! Looking forward to seeing new posts and remember if ya need any free comics send me an e-mail!
